On 4/21/2015 The NYC Justice League made the US Capitol West Lawn the final stop on their March 2 Justice journey.
That day, I went to document a collection I titled “Say It With Your Chest”. It is a phrase I first heard used by comedian Kevin Hart. Although his use of the phrase had another meaning, I used it to define a collection of photographed t-shirts worn by activists, that communed at the #March2Justice Rally.
T-shirts communicating messages and/or representing the organizations that were of importance to them. Pictured above are a few images collected on that day.
Last Saturday, almost exactly 3 years after the “March 2 Justice Rally” the “March For Our Lives” rally took place in DC and other cities across the U.S.
